Leveraging proprietary AI and machine learning, PADO provides the intelligent orchestration layer that optimizes power consumption, enhances site resiliency, and shifts data centers from static facilities to energy-aware assets. With the strategic backing of LG—a global leader in BESS storage, high-efficiency chillers, and liquid cooling—PADO provides an orchestration layer supported by LG’s world-class infrastructure expertise.

We are seeking an experienced, high-velocity Strategic Account Director to lead our commercial efforts and drive revenue growth in the data center sector. We aren't looking for a typical sales manager; we are looking for a creative and thoughtful deal maker. You will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and closing high-value opportunities within the rapidly expanding data center market, working directly with hyperscalers, developers, and co-location providers to build a category-defining company.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the data center market and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
  • Strategic Deal Making: Lead and negotiate complex, large-scale agreements with data center developers and operators, navigating the technical and financial complexities of critical infrastructure.
  • Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain deep relationships with key decision-makers at hyperscalers, neocloud, enterprise, and colocation providers.
  • Solutions Leadership: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations of PADO’s platform for C-level executives and engineering leaders.
  • Market Intelligence & Roadmap Influence: Relay competitor activity and customer feedback to our Product and Strategy teams to refine our roadmap and maintain our competitive edge.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain high standards for CRM hygiene (Salesforce) and provide accurate, high-level revenue forecasting to the executive team.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as a lead PADO brand ambassador at major trade shows and industry events to drive market presence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Track Record: 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in enterprise SaaS, energy management, or critical infrastructure, with specific experience selling into the data center ecosystem.
  • Infrastructure Expertise: Deep understanding of data center power systems, cooling technologies, and the specific challenges posed by AI/GPU workloads.
  • Closer Mentality: Proven ability to lead and close complex, multi-million dollar software/service agreements.
  • Financial Mastery: Ability to build and defend complex ROI models based on PUE improvements, OpEx reduction, and increased compute throughput.
  • AI-Augmented Professionalism: Beyond a deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application to data center optimization, you proactively leverage AI tools to streamline your sales workflows, automate account research, and enhance your overall work process.
  • Startup Resilience & Leadership: Optimistic, self-motivated leader comfortable in a high-growth environment where you have the grit to build the "playbook," not just run it.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Location: Remote

Travel: ~50% of time

Salary: Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience) + Uncapped Commission + Equity, 401K, and Healthcare.
